Introduction:
BEVM is the first BTC layer2 that supports BTC interaction with the EVM network, a decentralized BTC cross-chain enabled by Bitcoin light nodes and taproots. Support EVM environment and direct use as native gas fee, support to manage BTC balance in metamask wallet.

What we actually solved?
We all know that transferring assets on the original Bitcoin network has major limitations. Bitcoin only supports native BTC transactions, and these suffer from slow confirmation times and high costs. Typically it takes anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour to confirm BTC transfers on the blockchain, and transaction fees frequently spike during periods of congestion. This makes basic value transfers quite tedious.
The Bitcoin protocol also does not support complex logic and contract capabilities natively. Implementing traditional order book exchanges requires complex off-chain components to match orders and finalize trades. Doing decentralized exchange directly on the Bitcoin blockchain is not feasible currently.
